July 2025,Sino-Japanese Ceramic Art Exchange

In July 2025, at the invitation of Kyoto Sanbao Co., Ltd., Huang Sheng, dean of the Academy of Fine Arts at Jingdezhen Ceramic University, and a delegation of four visited Tajimi, Japan, to meet contemporary Japanese ceramic master Harumi Nakajima and acquired two excellent works by Nakajima’s wife, ceramic artist Katsuko Nakajima. They also visited and inspected the Tajimi Ceramic Design Institute, receiving warm welcome and reception. The institute’s director, assistant Yamashita Naho, and staff warmly hosted the delegation and provided a comprehensive introduction to the institute’s background and current status. Furthermore, to deepen exchanges between the two regions, a Sino-Japanese ceramic art exhibition project is underway.
