日本当代陶艺巨匠作品展“时间的河流”

The exhibition “The River of Time”, featuring works by masters of contemporary Japanese ceramics, opened in Jingdezhen on October 17. During the event, several renowned ceramic artists — Tadayasu Sasayama, Munemi Yorigami, and Masamichi Yoshikawa — were specially invited by Kyoto Sampo Co., Ltd. to visit the Sanbao Ceramic Art Village in Jingdezhen as part of a Sino-Japanese cultural and artistic exchange. The artists engaged in active dialogue and exchange. Particularly notable was Mr. Sasayama’s nearly three-hour lecture, which offered a comprehensive and systematic introduction to the works of Kazuo Yagi, founder of the avant-garde ceramic group Sodeisha, and other key members of the movement. Around thirty participants — including artists from across China, faculty and students of Jingdezhen Ceramic University, international resident artists at Sanbao, and assistants from the Li Jianshen Studio — attentively attended the lecture. In addition, Mr. Sasayama and his wife, together with Mr. Yoshikawa, visited the Sanbao International Ceramic Art Museum to view Li Jianshen’s works and also inspected the thousand-year-old traditional water mill in Sanbao Village, leaving a profound impression.
