“Porcelain Language · Dialogue” China–Japan–Korea Ceramic Art Exchange Event was enthusiastically held at the Millennium Imperial Kiln. A group of art lovers opened the kiln for raku firing, shared tea and discussed ideas, getting an early taste of the spontaneous beauty of the Imperial Kiln Culture & Art Center.

The “Porcelain Language · Dialogue” China–Japan–Korea Ceramic Art Exchange Event was enthusiastically held at the Millennium Imperial Kiln. A group of art lovers opened the kiln for raku firing, shared tea and discussed ideas, getting an early taste of the spontaneous beauty of the Imperial Kiln Culture & Art Center. The event brought together Japanese contemporary ceramic artist Yorikami Munemi, U.S.-based Korean ceramic artist Lee Tae-heung, and local ceramic forces—scholars, teachers, and professors from the Ceramics program of Nanhai Information Technology College. Through raku creation demonstrations, China–Japan tea dialogue, and the collision of cultural ideas, it infused Shishan with an artistic feast spanning regions and generations. At the beginning of the event, Li Jianshen, chief master builder of the Imperial Kiln Culture & Art Center and specially appointed professor at Jingdezhen Ceramic University, took the lead in bringing a “raku” creation demonstration to the scholars and teachers of the Ceramics program at Nanhai Information Technology College.
